
Hughes Makes NCAA Commitment

St. Cloud Norsemen forward Jackson Hughes announces his commitment to play for NCAA Division III Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Hughes, a native of South Lyon, Michigan, came to the Norsemen midway through the 2021-22 season, his second year in the North American Hockey League. Hughes played 30 games in the regular season and all 11 playoff games, scoring 11 points on 5 goals and 6 assists and registered a +11 rating.
The Norsemen have had 15 NCAA committed players on the squad this season, and Hughes makes the 13th NCAA commitment on St. Cloud's season-ending roster.
The St. Cloud Norsemen are the 2021-22 Central Division Champions and were tied for the league lead in wins with 41 in the regular season. The Norsemen made the franchise's second appearance in the NAHL Robertson Cup.
