2022-23 St. Cloud Norsemen Schedule Released

St. Cloud Norsemen News Release
The St. Cloud Norsemen and defending North American Hockey League Central Division Champions are set to open the 2022-23 season with the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN and a complete schedule that brings 28 home games to the ice at the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex.
The Norsemen home opener will be Friday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. CT at the MAC, as part of a home-and-home weekend with the Austin Bruins. The first true road game will be Saturday, Sept. 24 at Austin.
St. Cloud will host a Central Division Final rematch on September 30 and October 1 against the Aberdeen Wings. The Norsemen hit the road for the first trip to the Dakotas, playing a three-game slate beginning at Bismarck, October 7-8 and concluding in Minot on Sunday, October 9.
Other schedule highlights include a Thanksgiving Eve home game on Wednesday, November 23 at the MAC, and five home games in the month of December leading up to the holiday break.
St. Cloud and the Minnesota Wilderness keep the in-state, non-division rivalry alive with four games, two home and home series. The Wilderness travel to the MAC on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 3 for an afternoon tilt (Time TBD).
The Norsemen round out the 2022 calendar year with a Dec. 30-31 series on the road at Aberdeen. St. Cloud starts 2023 on the road as well with a three-game series at Minot beginning Thursday, January 5, and continuing Friday and Saturday, January 6-7.
There are 14 home games in the 2023 portion of the schedule including three home games in January, five in February, four in March and a pair in April.
The regular season home finale will be April 7-8 against the Wings before the regular season concludes on the road at Aberdeen on April 14-15.
