The Niagara IceDogs got a huge 7-3 win over the Oshawa Generals in game three of the Eastern Conference Semifinals Tuesday night at the Meridian Centre.

Billy Jenkins sent the crowd into a frenzy when he opened the scoring just 27 seconds into the game with his 5th goal of the postseason. Tobias Lindberg and Aiden Wallace answered for the Generals to make it 2-1, but Brendan Perlini tied the game before the end of the first period with a power play goal.

Jenkins added his second of the game 13:23 into the middle frame to give the IceDogs a 3-2 lead. Alex Mikulovich made it 4-2 just over five minutes later.

The lead was extended by Carter Verhaeghe, when he scored his 4th of the playoffs less than two minutes into the third period. Josh Brown scored a shorthanded goal to make it 5-3, but Jenkins capped off the hat-trick before Mikkel Aagaard made it 7-3 with an empty netter.

Brandon Hope made 38 saves in the win for the IceDogs.

They're back at it Thursday night for game four at the Meridian Centre as the IceDogs look to even the series at two games apiece. Puck drop is at 7:00pm.
