Calgary Hitmen News Release
Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is pleased to publish an update on plans for the Lunar Celebration Game.
To date close to 4,000 ticket requests have been made.
In late January it was announced New Year festivities in the Far East will be celebrated when the Hitmen host the Regina Pats on Tuesday, February 19th.
The Hitmen invite all residents, as well as anyone holding passports from any country from the Far East, to attend this game at NO COST. The Hitmen will also provide discounted hotel rates upon request. This ticket offer is available immediately by showing one's passport to Customer Service or Ticketmaster at the Pengrowth Saddledome for up to four tickets per passport holder.
"This game has been designated as the Lunar Celebration Game in order to celebrate the various multicultural communities in Calgary" states Kip Reghenas, Director of Business Operations for the Calgary Hitmen.
"I think our fans and guests will really enjoy this game. We have an intermission with Lion Dancers, a Dragon Dance, and following the game a fireworks display, all in the tradition of this Lunar Celebration."
This game will also feature unique giveaways. For additional information, or for residents in the Far East to proceed with this invitation, please contact Kip Reghenas of the Calgary Hitmen directly at 1-403-571-9745.
