SAINT JOHN - Saint John Sea Dogs captain Jonathan Huberdeau was a late scratch from the Team QMJHL lineup for the Subway Super Series Monday.

Huberdeau left Monday's morning skate with a foot injury, originally sustained in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. The Florida Panthers prospect will be re-evaluated upon his return to Saint John.

Three other Sea Dogs will suit up for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League all-stars against the Russian Selects tonight in Victoriaville, Que., and Wednesday in Quebec City. Defenceman Nathan Beaulieu and forward Zack Phillips will make their second appearance in the Canada-Russia challenge, while defenceman Pierre Durepos is a first-time participant.

Both games begin at 8 p.m. Atlantic Time and will be televised by Rogers Sportsnet.

The Sea Dogs wrap up their four-game road swing Friday with a visit to the Prince Edward Island Rocket, a 7 p.m. start. Tim Roszell will have the call on News 88.9 FM . Fans can also catch all the action online via the official TELUS QMJHL webcast.

Saint John returns home Saturday to welcome 16-year-old phenom Nathan MacKinnon and the Halifax Mooseheads, a 7 p.m. puck drop. The Dogs then host Baie-Comeau Sunday at 3 p.m. for the team's annual Support Our Troops game. Single-game tickets are available at the Harbour Station box office, by calling 506-657-1234 or online at www.tickets.harbourstation.ca.
