
Houston Dynamo Hold Two Selections in Tomorrow's 2015 MLS SuperDraft

HOUSTON (Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015) - The Houston Dynamo enter Thursday's 2015 MLS SuperDraft with one selection in each of the draft's two rounds. The Dynamo hold the No. 8 selection in the first round and a pick in the second round (No. 36 overall). The draft, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, will begin at 11:30 a.m. CT and will be streamed live at www.HoustonDynamo.com/Superdraft
Last year, Houston selected defender AJ Cochran out of the University of Wisconsin in the first round (No. 16 overall) and forward Mark Sherrod from the University of Memphis in the second round. The club also selected goalkeeper Michael Lisch in the third round, held the following week.
Six current Dynamo players were acquired by Houston via the SuperDraft or Supplemental Draft, including: Corey Ashe (2007), Kofi Sarkodie (2011) Will Bruin (2011), Jason Johnson (2013), Cochran and Lisch.

The third and fourth rounds of the draft will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20 via conference call. The Dynamo hold one third round selection.
