Houston Dynamo Face Philadelphia Union on Saturday

HOUSTON (Friday, April 18, 2014) - The Houston Dynamo meet the Philadelphia Union tomorrow at 3 p.m. CT at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. to begin a two-city road trip and a stretch of three games in eight days.

Saturday's game will be broadcast live on CSN Houston Plus (2:30 p.m. CT pregame show) and tape delayed on Telemundo Houston at 11 p.m. The game can be heard on Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 AM and 850 AM (Spanish).

Houston is 2-3-0 (6 points) this season following a 2-0 setback at New England on Saturday. The Dynamo have lost three consecutive games in league play for the first time since 2010.

The Union (1-2-4; 7 points) are set to play its third game in eight days on Saturday. The club fell on the road against the New York Red Bulls, 2-1, on Wednesday after securing a 2-2 home draw with Real Salt Lake last Saturday.

Last season, the Dynamo won both games against Philadelphia. Dynamo midfielder Ricardo Clark scored the winning goal in each 1-0 victory. Houston is 1-1-2 in four all-time regular season games in Philadelphia.

The Union feature United States men's national team midfielder Maurice Edu. The 28-year-old played in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and has 46 appearances for the U.S. Philadelphia also added midfielders Vincent Nogueira and Christian Maidana in the offseason. Nogueira, 26, joined the Union after seven seasons with FC Sochaux in France's Ligue 1. Maidana, a 27-year-old from Argentina, has played with Rangers (Scotland) and Spartak Moscow (Russia).

Following Saturday's game, the Dynamo visit the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday before returning to BBVA Compass Stadium on Sunday, April 27 to host the Portland Timbers.
