Houston Dash News Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Monday, July 20, 2015) - The Houston Dash visit FC Kansas City tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT at Swope Soccer Village. The match will be broadcast live via YouTube at HoustonDashSoccer.com/live. Game notes for the Dash are attached.

Tonight's match could be the first minutes on the field for Carli Lloyd, Morgan Brian and Meghan Klingenberg since their World Cup championship with the United States on July 5. The trio was honored at the Dash's July 12 home match but did not see any playing time.

The Dash (3-4-4, 13 points) and FC Kansas City (5-5-2, 17 points) have met once so far this year, a 2-0 FCKC win in Houston on May 2. The teams will face each other for a third time in just nine days in a July 29 matchup at BBVA Compass Stadium.

The 2014 NWSL champions, FCKC is currently on a two-game winning streak after downing the Boston Breakers and Washington Spirit in consecutive weeks. Kansas City is led in scoring with four goals by rookie Shea Groom, who was named NWSL Player of the Week but will miss Monday's match with a broken foot. FCKC also welcomes back U.S. Women's National Team players Amy Rodriguez, Lauren Holliday, Heather O'Reilly and Becky Sauerbrunn.

Following tonight's match, the Dash travel to face the Western New York Flash on July 25 before returning home on July 29 for the rematch against FC Kansas City. Individual tickets for remaining home matches are available at HoustonDashSoccer.com or by calling (713) 276-GOAL.
