Hounds Announce Three More Players for 2015 Season

PITTSBURGH (Feb. 13, 2015) - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are pleased to announce that Fejiro Okiomah, Anthony Virgara and Ryan Hulings have agreed terms for the 2015 USL season.

Okiomah played under Riverhounds head coach Mark Steffens at the Charlotte Eagles in 2013. He scored the opening goal of that year's USL championship game at the Florida Citrus Bowl. Charlotte eventually lost out to Orlando City.

The 24-year-old defender from Austin, Texas spent last year with North American Soccer League expansion side Indy Eleven.

Pittsburgh native Virgara signed his first professional contract with his hometown club last August after making 11 appearances for the Riverhounds' Premier Development League team in the summer. He made his pro team debut as a substitute in last year's penultimate league game at the Charleston Battery.

The versatile 23-year-old midfielder attended Keystone Oaks and Seton LaSalle high schools before spending four years at Marshall University. Virgara made 63 appearances for The Herd during his collegiate career.

Hulings joined the Riverhounds in 2013 after playing collegiately for Baldwin Wallace University.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper from Dayton, Ohio also spent last summer playing for the Hounds' nascent PDL side while providing cover for the pro team.

Pittsburgh's pre-season preparations officially commence on Monday 16 February.

The Hounds kick off the USL season on March 28 when Harrisburg City Islanders visit Highmark Stadium.
