Tri-City Dust Devils News Release
Boosted by a strong night at the plate the Tri-City Dust Devils (33-52) notched the 9-1 win over the Spokane Indians on Tuesday night at Gesa Stadium. Adrian Rondon had three hits and drove in three runs in the lopsided victory.
The Dust Devils, who never trailed in the game, broke the game open in the sixth inning. Tri-City scored five runs in the sixth to give the team an insurmountable lead. The pitching staff also impressed in the first home game since July 25. Glenn Albanese, Dylan King, Erick Julio, Chad Sykes and Kyle Molnar combined to limit Spokane to only one run.
Coming up in the second matchup of the series on Wednesday the Dust Devils will send right-hander Taylor Ahearn to the mound. Spokane will counter with right-hander Mitch Kilkenny.
