Kansas City Monarchs News Release

KANSAS CITY, KS - The Kansas City T-Bones are offering and invitation to all Wyandotte County residents to host a T-Bones player for the 2007 baseball season. The T-Bones host family program is starting its 5th season and plays a very big part in the success of the Kansas City T-Bones Baseball Club.

Host families who choose to participate are asked to provide a T-Bones player his own room from early May to mid September. The program is designed to make it financially feasible for the T-Bones players to pursue their career in professional baseball.

Each potential host family is asked to fill out an application and go through an interview process with the team's Host Family Coordinator, Julie Ann Hunter. She then matches the host families accommodations with the players needs based on a questionnaire filled out by the players.

If you are interested in becoming a Host Family for the Kansas City T-Bones, please contact Julie Ann Hunter at jhunter94@yahoo.com for more information or to apply.
