HOOKS - ASTROS EXTEND RELATIONSHIP - Officials from Ryan-Sanders Baseball, the Corpus Christi Hooks and the Houston Astros announced that the Player Development Contract (PDC) between the Astros and the Hooks has been extended to 2008.
The original PDC, being transferred from Round Rock, was to expire after the 2006 season. The new terms match the agreement in Round Rock, where it was also announced that the Express would become the Astros Triple-A affiliate thru 2008.
