CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi Hooks return home to Whataburger Field Thursday for four-game series against Texas League South Division rivals Frisco and Midland.

In addition to action involving the Texas League's top three teams, fans can enjoy exciting giveaways and a number of off-the-field attractions at the ballpark.

Here's a look at it all, day-by-day:

Thursday, April 17, Hooks vs. Frisco RoughRiders, 7:05 - Catch country music star Brandon Rhyder in a pre-game concert at Kieschnick's Korner from 6:15-6:45. Gates open at 5:30.

Cast your vote for George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt in presidential bobblehead balloting. The winner will have his likeness cast for a bobblehead giveaway on Saturday, August 23. Voting continues throughout the homestand. Pick up ballots at Guest Services or from an usher.

Thursday is Sinton Night at Whataburger Field and SHS honor roll students are admitted with complimentary tickets. Other members of the community receive $3 off the price of reserved seat and general admission tickets. This program is underwritten by the Hooks and Flint Hills Resources.

Friday, April 18, Hooks vs. RoughRiders, 7:05 - When the game is over, Bud Light's Friday Fireworks light up the night.

Saturday, April 19, Hooks vs. RoughRiders, 7:05 - The first 2,500 fans receive a Jonny Ash Figurine, courtesy of CITGO. Gates open at 5:30

This is the first of five figurines in a collectibles series presented by CITGO. Other former Hooks stars in the lineup: Troy Patton (May 24), J.R. Towles (June 28), Josh Anderson (July 30) and Hunter Pence (August 20).

Sunday, April 20, Hooks vs. RoughRiders, 2:05 - Children are the emphasis on Sundays at Whataburger Field and this week youngsters can enjoy the Vote Hooks Kids' Caucuspregame in the plaza adjacent to Kieschnick's Korner.

Rusty's Kids Club members are invited to the celebration, which features Rusty Hook and Sammy Seagull stumping for votes in their campaign for Affordable Family Entertainment. The Hooks Party Patrol and Mt. Rushmore presidents will be on hand to make sure there aren't any irregularities. Presidential trivia and inflatables are other caucus features.

Banquete High School Day at Whataburger Field recognizes honor roll students with complimentary tickets. Other members of the community receive $3 off the price of reserved seat and general admission tickets. This program is underwritten by the Hooks and Flint Hills Resources.

Mariachis provide pregame entertainment on the main concourse from 12:30-1:45. All youngsters run the bases postgame.

H-E-B Kids' Day, presented by KSAB-FM & KUNO-AM

Monday, April 21, Hooks vs. Midland RockHounds, 7:05 - It's Hooks Heroes Night, featuring former Hook and current Astros starter J.R. Towles. Just $5 nets a Towles t-shirt, hot dog and soda, subject to availability. Ask at the Whataburger Field Box Office for details.

Fans also have the chance to vote on future 2008 Hooks Heroes.

Flour Bluff High School Night at Whataburger Field recognizes honor roll students with complimentary tickets. Other members of the community receive $3 off the price of reserved seat and general admission tickets. This program is underwritten by the Hooks and Flint Hills Resources.

Monday also signals the first Game Show Night of 2008 as the Hooks offer nine innings of winnings for random fans. Spectators compete for various prizes awarded by the Party Patrol.

Tuesday, April 22, Hooks vs. RockHounds, 7:05 - It's Grande Grand Prize Night at the ballpark, your chance to limber up that throwing arm and toss a baseball into the whiskey barrel at second base for up to $1,000.

Balls cost just $1 each and come in quantities of one, five and 10. Proceeds go to a Coastal Bend charity.

Aransas Pass High School Night at Whataburger Field recognizes honor roll students with complimentary tickets. Other members of the community receive $3 off the price of reserved seat and general admission tickets. This program is underwritten by the Hooks and Flint Hills Resources.

Half-Price Group Night, presented by Champion Automotive, Grande Communications & ESPN Radio.

Wednesday, April 23, Hooks vs. RockHounds, 7:05 - The first 2,500 fans receive a Hooks Fleece Blanket, compliments of Coastal Bend Chevy Dealers.

The Hooks and Express Hospitality Service (EHS) roll out Brooks' Buffet, an all-you-can-eat meal in Kieschnick's Korner. A general admission ticket, hot dogs with all the trimmings, nachos, popcorn, soda, tea and water are included for $14 per person. Draft beer (24 oz.) is an additional $5.50.

Buffet diners desiring reserved seat tickets may upgrade for an additional $5, subject to availability.

Present your Whataburger receipt at the box office to purchase up to four reserved tickets at half-price, subject to availability.

On your way to the ballpark, stop by Brewster Street Ice House, 1724 N. Tancahua, for Hooks Idol open auditions. Oldies 93.9 covers the event with a live remote broadcast.

Thursday, April 24, Hooks vs. RockHounds, 7:05 - Led by its Chamber of Commerce, Rockport-Fulton turns out for an annual community-wide celebration. A crowd in excess of 500 is anticipated from The Charm of the Texas Coast.

The final game of the homestand is also RFHS Night at Whataburger Field and honor roll students are admitted with complimentary tickets.
