
Honkers Sign Triplet from Auburn

(Rochester, Minn.)- The Rochester Honkers announced today the signing of Keaton Weisz, a freshman infielder from Auburn University.
Weisz is a 5-foot-9, 148-pound infielder from San Diego, California. He's seen limited action on the season, appearing in only five games and scoring one run.
Weisz comes from a larger family having four brothers and one sister, Jessica. Keaton, Zachary and Chandler are triplets. Zachary is playing baseball at Cal State Fullerton and Chandler plays at St. Mary's (Calif.). Keaton's other brother, Alfonso, plays at Arizona.
Weisz played his high school ball at La Jolla Country Day in La Jolla, California where he was rated as the No. 105 player in the California and the No. 15 shortstop. He was also a 2015 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American. As a senior he hit .309 in 31 games, scored 26 runs and stole 16 bases. He posted the fastest 60 yard dash time at USA Baseball 17U tournament in 2014 with a 6.47 mark.
Auburn travels to Montgomery, Alabama today, (Tuesday, March 29th) for the 8th Annual Capital City Classic when they take on Alabama at 7:05pm CT.
The Rochester Honkers 23rd season begins on May 31st when the team travels to Eau Claire, Wisconsin to take on the Express. The following night, Wednesday, June 1st, the Honkers battle the Express in their home opener at Mayo Field at 7:05 pm. Season Tickets, Bonus Books, Suites and Patios are now available.
