Rochester Honkers News Release
The Honkers were postponed due to rain and inclement field conditions once again, this time it was not at Mayo Field. The Honkers and River Bats were slated to play game two of their three game series at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud at 7:05pm but heavy rains in the area throughout the day made the field unplayable.
The two teams will make up today's game, and play tomorrows game as a doubleheader, tomorrow, June 22, starting at 1:05 pm. The second game will start thirty minutes following the conclusion of the first game. This is the fourth time this season the Honkers have played all of or a part of two games in one day due to rain.
The Honkers will play two games tomorrow before heading to Duluth for three games for the second half of the six game roadtrip. The Honkers return home next Sunday for a 1:05pm start against the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers at Mayo Field.
