Eau Claire, WI - June 21th, 2011 - The Bullfrogs dropped their second game in a row to the Eau Claire Express on Tuesday night in Eau Claire. The 'Frogs bullpen allowed a total of five runs in the seventh and eighth innings in the 8-5 loss. A three-run two-out home run by Josh Scheffert in the seventh inning completed the comeback for the Express as the Bullfrogs fall to 11-9.

Green Bay was up 4-0 after the fifth inning. The 'Frogs scored first again tonight when they loaded the bases with nobody out in the first. Cameron Dullnig pushed across the lone run in the first with an RBI groundout. In the third inning Mitch Haniger hit an RBI double. Haniger finished the night a triple shy of the cycle in a 3-4 night. Haniger would tack on the fourth run in the fifth inning with a solo home run that he tucked down the right field that was just fair and over the fence.

Eau Claire would respond with a three spot in the bottom half of the fifth inning. A walk and hit by pitch around a single given up by the Bullfrogs' starter Mark Garcia loaded the bases with no outs. The next Express hitter Ryan Shober drove a double into the deepest part of the park that center fielder Matt Ozanne just missed with a diving attempt. Two runs came into score on the double that was followed up by a sacrifice fly by Ty Forney to bring Eau Claire to within one run.

The 'Frogs added an unearned insurance in the seventh when Jacob May scored on balk in an inning that was extended on an error. In the seventh the Express delivered the big blow. With two down and a runner on first Andy Hunter walked Nick Addison before he gave up the two-out, two-strike three-run homer to Josh Scheffert that gave Eau Claire a lead they would not relinquish. In the eighth, the express pushed two more runs across against reliever Kyle Linquist with four consecutive base hits to begin the inning.

Green Bay is 2-3 on their season-long seven-game road trip. They will try to salvage the final game of the three-game set against the Eau Claire Express on Wednesday at 6:35 pm.
