Homestand Highlights: Opening Homestand

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Home Opener for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers is tomorrow afternoon! Saturday is just the start of a five-game homestand for the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Quad Cities River Bandits are at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium on April 8 and April 9. Then, the Burlington Bees visit from April 10 through April 12.
The first two games on this homestand will feature a magnet schedule giveaway for the 2017 Timber Rattlers season made possible by Neuroscience Group.
The full promotional menu for the first homestand of 2017 follows:
- SATURDAY, APRIL 8 at 4:05pm; HOME OPENER! David Ortiz All-Fan Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Pepsi and Asphalt Seal and Repair; North Shore Bank Family Day with WIXX; Kids Run the Bases presented by Tundraland: Every fan to attend the 2017 Home Opener will receive a bobblehead of David Ortiz, a Timber Rattler in 1996, courtesy of Pepsi and Asphalt Seal and Repair. After the game, children 12 and under may run the bases courtesy of Tundraland.
- SUNDAY, APRIL 9 at 1:05pm; Brewers Sunday with Rasmussen College & Star 98; Catch on the Field; Player Autographs: Timber Rattlers players and coaches will be wearing the new Brewers Sunday jerseys for the first time this season during this game. Fans may play catch on-field courtesy of Rasmussen College starting at noon. Players will be available for a postgame autograph session sponsored by Tundraland.
- MONDAY, April 10 at 6:35pm; Qdoba Q*Monday with NASH FM 99.5 & 104.9; Teen Night presented by Fox Valley Technical College: Purchase an entrée at any Qdoba location in Appleton, Neenah, or Oshkosh for lunch on Monday and receive a ticket to any Monday home game during the 2017 season. It's also the first Teen Night of the season! Teenagers may purchase a reserved seat for $4 or a $10 ticket that includes four of the following five food and beverage items: Hotdog, 10-ounce soda, Nachos with Cheese, Small Popcorn, and Cotton Candy. Teen Night is for every Monday night home game during this season.
- TUESDAY, April 11 at 12:05pm; D.A.R.E; Baker Tilly Business Person & Senior Citizens Special presented by WVBO and AM1280, WNAM: Local D.A.R.E. Officers will give a 30 minute presentation for participants in local D.A.R.E. programs from 10:30-11am on top of the first base dugout. The presentation will cover safety and being a positive part of your school and community. Show your business card when you purchase a ticket and for $14.50 you will receive a box seat ticket, a beverage and your choice of brat or hot dog. The offer is also available to senior citizens (55 & older) courtesy of Baker Tilly, WVBO, and AM1280 WNAM.
- WEDNESDAY, April 12 at 6:35pm; Bang for Your Buck Night with Y100; Sports Career Fair: There is a Sports Career Fair scheduled for the Fox Community Credit Union Fox Club from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Seven Wisconsin sports teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Wave, are scheduled to be at the event to meet with anyone interested in starting a career in sports. Click here for more details and to learn how to reserve a spot for at the Sports Career Fair . All fans may enjoy Cher-Make hotdogs and 16-ounce Pepsi products for $1. Fans 21 and older may purchase 12-ounce domestic beers for $1. This is a part of Bang for Your Buck Night at the ballpark with Y100! One lucky fan will also win two charter airfare tickets courtesy of AAA Travel and Funjet Vacations.
Partial season and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2017 season. Tickets packages are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER, and in person. Individual game tickets for this season are also on sale now . Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays.
