Homestand Highlighted By Christmas In July, Featuring Ugly Sweater T-Shirt Giveaway

FRISCO, TEXAS - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, return to Dr Pepper Ballpark this Sunday to start a four-game homestand against the San Antonio Missions (San Diego Padres). The homestand is highlighted by Christmas in July, which will be held during Sunday's game.

Christmas comes early this year, and holiday spirit will be in the air on this summer evening at Dr Pepper Ballpark. The first 1,500 fans to enter the ballpark Sunday will receive RoughRiders ugly sweater t-shirts. There will also be a post-game fireworks show, and fans can watch the display from the field.

The homestand also features a Big Money Monday, where select fans in attendance will have an opportunity to win "Big Money" in various games and contests. One lucky winner will have the chance to win a big money jackpot.

On Taco Tuesday, fans can enjoy $2 tacos available all game long, along with select $3 beers and half-price margaritas from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

$1 hot dogs, presented by Texas Chili Company, will be served at Dr Pepper Ballpark on Weiner Wednesday.

Sunday, July 17, 2016 - Riders vs. San Antonio Missions (SD) (6:05 p.m.) - Christmas in July, featuring Riders Ugly Sweater T-Shirt Giveaway, Whataburger Kids Art Contest Baseball Giveaway, Kids Sunday Funday, Post-Game Fireworks

Gates: 5:00 p.m. to the public, 4:30 p.m. for Founder's Members

Christmas in July: This special night at the ballpark includes a RoughRiders ugly sweater t-shirt giveaway for the first 1,500 fans in attendance.

Whataburger Kids Art Contest Baseball Giveaway: Contest winner Sarah X. from Bowie Elementary School will have her artwork featured on a baseball giveaway for the first 500 kids ages 12-and-younger in attendance. The Riders will also recognize the top six students from the contest during the game.

Kids Sunday Funday: Includes a pre-game catch on the field for kids and their parents/guardians (up to 35 minutes prior to first pitch). There will also be $1 ice cream sandwiches all game long.

Post-Game Fireworks: Fans can go onto the field to watch a spectacular fireworks display.

Monday, July 18, 2016 - Riders vs. San Antonio Missions (SD) (7:05 p.m.) - Big Money Monday

Gates: 6:00 p.m. to the public, 5:30 p.m. for Founder's Members

Big Money Monday: Select fans in attendance will have the chance to win "Big Money" in various games and contest. One lucky fan will even have the chance to win a big money JACKPOT of up to $25,000 on a game situation or in a game of chance. Fans can sign up at Guest Services from the time that gates open through the third inning.

Tuesday, July 19, 2016 - Riders vs. San Antonio Missions (SD) (7:05 p.m.) - Taco Tuesday

Gates: 6:00 p.m. to the public, 5:30 p.m. for Founder's Members

Wednesday, July 20, 2016 - Riders vs. San Antonio Missions (SD) (7:05 p.m.) - Weiner Wednesday, presented by Texas Chili Company, Kids Run the Bases

Gates: 6:00 p.m. to the public, 5:30 p.m. for Founder's Members

Weiner Wednesday, presented by Texas Chili Company: Hot dogs are just $1 all game long.

Kids Run the Bases: All kids 12-and-younger can run the bases after the game.
