Rockford RiverHawks News Release

LOVES PARK, Ill. - This week's homestand is jam-packed with giveaways and promotions that you won't want to miss.

The RiverHawks kick things off Wednesday with a three-game set against the Washington Wild Things, and then finish off with three against the Midwest Sliders.

Head over to Road Ranger Stadium Wednesday for a 7:05pm game. It's Bark in the Park brought to you by Forest City Dog Training and Petco, so bring along your favorite four legged friend. Thursday night's 7:05 game is another Miller Lite and WXRX Dollar Beer Night, and the players will be wearing camo jerseys as part of Military Appreciation Night.

Friday night is a game for all the collectors. Baseball Card Set #4 from Culver's and WXRX will be given away at the gate, and then stay after the game for the FatWallet.com Fireworks. Game time is 7:05pm.

Saturday night will be one of the most popular games of the year as the first 1,000 fans will receive the fourth installment of the Chicago Cubs Bobblehead Series. The featured bobblehead for Saturday will be Ryne Sandberg, and is brought to you by Metro Medical, BOB FM and WIFR.

Sundays are great days to bring the entire family to a RiverHawks game. This Sunday is no exception because it's Photo Day! Acute Image and Design will be giving away cameras so you can get your picture taken with the RiverHawks players. Kids can then stay after the game to run the bases.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 16th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Most games are broadcast live on WNTA (1330 AM) and the internet. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
