
Homer Lifts Albuquerque to Walk-Off Win

Joshua Fuentes lined a two-run walk-off home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning Monday to give the Albuquerque Isotopes a 5-4 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas. The back-and-forth game had four lead changes.
El Paso's Jesse Scholtens had his longest start of the season by innings (7.0) and pitches (114). Scholtens tied his season high with nine strikeouts, including three consecutive strikeouts to leave two runners on base in the seventh inning.
Chihuahuas first baseman Taylor Kohlwey went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, his second home run in as many days. Five of Kohlwey's six home runs this season have come against the Isotopes. Kohlwey has reached base multiple times in each of his last eight starts.
