The Salt Lake Bees fell 12-2 to the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Monday night.

The Bees took a 2-1 lead after the first inning as Brendon Davis hit a leadoff home run and Preston Palmeiro added an RBI single. After that it was all Oklahoma City as the Dodgers put up a run in six of nine innings, including five in the eighth. Cooper Criswell took the loss for the Bees pitching five and one-third innings while allowing 12 hits and six runs.

Davis led the Bees offense with a pair of hits, including the home run. Palmeiro and Thaiss also had multi-hit games. The Bees were out hit 19-7 on the night.

The series finale between the Bees and Dodgers is Tuesday night at 6:35 p.m. at Smith's Ballpark.
