Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings are back at the Odde this Friday and Saturday to take on the Minnesota Magicians 2-4-0. This will be the regular season home opener for the Wings 4-2-0. The two teams faced off last weekend in Richfield, MN with each team getting 1 goal wins. Special teams looks to be a key for the Wings, currently they are in the top 10 in both the power play and penalty kill throughout the NAHL. This is the first year the Magicians are in the Central Division however the two teams are very familiar with each other, playing 8 times last season. The early standings in the Central have the Wings in 3rd place with 8 points and the Magicians in 6th with 4.
The Wings have partnered with the Ramkota as this seasons official hotel. To help kick things off the Ramkota will be offering a pre-game party at Minerva's before this weekend's games. Discounted apps and drink specials, as well as a FREE shuttle ride to and from the games will be provided.Â
Saturday Hub City Radio will be providing music for anyone looking to do some tailgating. The boom box will be on the grounds from 5-7pm. Prizes will be given away for anyone participating in the events.
Both Friday and Saturday the first 2,000 fans through the gate will receive a Wings Magnet schedule with Qdoba and Flatlanders coupons! $12 Corporate Bar Stools are available until filled. Call Aaron at 605-380-5852 for more information. Friday night after the game there will be a meet and greet in the corporate area with all the players and coaches.
General Admission tickets are available at the Wolf Stop and all 3 C-Express Locations!  As always the doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7:15!!!
