Philadelphia Rebels News Release
The Rebels will be having a Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10. The team will be auctioning off its specially-designed, game worn jerseys to support Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC), who provides free programs and services for women diagnosed with breast cancer.
Throughout the weekend, there will be a silent auction in which individuals can bid on any or all of the jerseys. Immediately upon the completion of Saturday's game against the New Jersey Titans, the players will remove their jersey and give it to the highest bidder (if the bidder is not available at the rink it will be mailed to the winner). The bidding starts at $100 per jersey.
In addition to the jerseys, the team has made special pink tee shirts promoting breast cancer awareness and will be selling them for $20 - with all proceeds going to LBBC.
Updates will be giving throughout the silent auction.
