Home Opener this Wednesday vs OC Gladiators

San Diego Wildcats News Release


The Wildcats are excited to invite all basketball fans in Southern California to attend their home opener at the Ray and Joan Kroc Center in San Diego this Wednesday, November 14th versus the Orange County Gladiators. Fresh off a 106 - 69 season opening victory at San Francisco, the Wildcats look forward to play at home this Wednesday in San Diego.

The San Diego Wildcats bring professional basketball back to San Diego for an exciting second season with a talented and experienced group of basketball players. The Wildcats return with last year's leading scorer of the ABA; Cardell "Ballaholic" Butler at shooting guard. He will be joined by Jamal Kendrick at forward/center, Yankuba Camara at center, and Michael McNair at shooting/point guard. The Wildcats roster also includes former San Diego State standout, Jerome Habel at power forward/ center, the Idaho 2001 state player of the year, Brian Graham at shooting guard, Leonard Mosley at point/ shooting guard, John Clark at shooting guard, and Greg Clark a shooting forward. In addition, San Diego natives Richard Bender at forward, Donald Barksdale at shooting forward, Marc Carter at power forward/center, and, Prentice Harris at shooting / point guard.

The San Diego Wildcats organization is very excited to announce its active roster for the 2007-2008 ABA season. It took the coaches and staff an extensive amount of time to assemble team with such caliber, dedication, and heart.
