Hartford, April 1, 2007: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned goaltender Chris Holt from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL to the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL, effective yesterday.

In six games with the Pack this season, Holt has gone 2-1-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and 91.8% save percentage. Holt has also gone 21-18-2 in 42 games with Charlotte this season, with a 3.26 goals-against average and 89.5% save percentage. Last season, the 21-year-old goaltender played in 23 games with the Checkers, where he went 7-11-1 with a 4.10 goals-against average, and a 88.7% save percentage. In addition, he went 3-2-1 in nine games with the Wolf Pack last season, with 225 saves, a 87.9% save percentage. Holt made his NHL debut with the New York Rangers on December 13th, playing 10 scoreless minutes with two saves.

The Wolf Pack are back in action today for a re-match with the division-leading Monarchs in Manchester (4:05 PM faceoff). The Pack are scheduled for another hectic week this week hosting the Portland Pirates at home on Wednesday (7:00 PM start), followed by a roadtrip to Worcester on Friday night to take on the Sharks (7:00 PM faceoff). The Pack then return to Hartford, hosting the Springfield Falcons on Saturday (7:00 PM start) and Albany River Rats on Sunday (4:00 PM faceoff).
