Hollywood Fame partners with School of Skills

Hollywood, CA - December 11 - American Basketball Association's (ABA) Hollywood Fame has teamed up with School of Skills basketball program to bring participants to Saturday's, December 16 home game at Santa Monica College at 7:30 p.m. PT.

The Fame, currently tied for first place in their division, invited students and their families to attend the team's second home game of the 2006-07 season. Students will perform at halftime to demonstrate their improved play from participation in the program.

"We are thrilled to be able to work with School of Skills," said Mike Casey, Fame's VP of Operations. "The Hollywood Fame is dedicated to providing the highest quality of basketball for fans and opportunities for future players."

School of Skills is a year-round basketball program designed to teach boys and girls ages 6-17 solid fundamentals and advanced techniques so they can excel and compete at any level. Clinics are held year round at Spectrum Club El Segundo, the practice facility of the Hollywood Fame and Los Angeles Clippers. More information can be found at www.schoolofskills.net.

The Hollywood Fame is the newest team to join the ABA. It is owned by a host of celebrities and professional athletes including A.J. Discala, Nick Lachey, Geoff Stults ("7th Heaven" and "The Break-Up"), Stacy Keibler ("Dancing With the Stars"), former NBA legend John Salley, former MLB All-Star Brady Anderson, Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Hampton, NFL quarterback Kyle Boller of the Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR's Brian Vickers, among others.
