
Hollywood Fame Participate in Read Across America Program

Hollywood Fame News Release
The ABA's newest team, the Hollywood Fame will participate in Carver Elementary School's Guest Reader and Read Across America Program this afternoon.
The Guest Reader and Read Across America program are designed to promote literacy and instill a lifelong love of reading in Compton Unified School District elementary school students. Fame players will read with students this afternoon.
Individuals from the fields of entertainment, athletics, business and politics, have been invited to the schools to read children's literature to the students in small intimate settings. Though these positive role models, students are not only motivated to read more, they become aware that reading is a vital component of succeeding in any profession.
