
Holiday Food Drive Starts Friday

The Phantoms and Hollydell Hurricanes will once again be collecting non-perishable food and frozen turkeys for the South Jersey Food Bank this year. The collection will occur from 6:00-7:00 p.m. outside the North and South entrances to the First Union Spectrum on Friday, Nov. 1 and Friday, Nov. 8.
FIRST SCHOOL DAY GAME SET FOR WEDNESDAY, NOV. 6
The Phantoms will host their first-ever School Day Game on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 11:00 a.m. Throughout the game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, students from all across the Delaware Valley will take part in educational lessons in math, geography, science, etc. that all revolve around hockey. It is a unique way for kids to learn outside of the classroom, while also partaking in a Phantoms regular-season home game. The School Day Game is being sponsored by the Philadelphia Inquirer's News in Education program.
SAMUELSSON ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" THIS WEEK
Assistant coach Kjell Samuelsson will be this week's guest on "Rumble with the Phantoms," which airs every Wednesday from 4:30-5:00 p.m. on WNJC (1360 AM). Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every week.
SECOND ONLINE AUCTION ENDS THURSDAY
The second bi-weekly online auction of the 2002-03 season ends on Thursday, Oct. 31. Log on to www.phantomshockey.com to place your bid on an autographed Guillaume Lefebvre helmet, an autographed 2001-02 Bruno St. Jacques road jersey, and the game-winning overtime puck from Opening Night, signed by captain Mark Greig.

Keep up with your favorite former Phantoms with the new "Where are they Now" feature on the www.phantomshockey.com. Located on the right side of the homepage or under the History section, Where are they Now will focus on a different player every other week. The first former Phantom spotlighted is left wing Sean O'Brien.
NEXT PHANTOMS PLAYER CLINIC ON MONDAY
The second of 10 Phantoms Player Clinics will take place on Monday, Nov. 4 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for the Glaciers Mite A & B and Squirt A, B & AA teams at the Face Off Circle in Warminster, Pa. Phantoms Player Clinics are sponsored by Carrabba's Italian Grill.
NEXT CN8 TELECAST ON NOV. 8
CN8, the Comcast Network, is airing a total of 11 Phantoms games throughout the 2002-03 season, with the next telecast set for Friday, Nov. 8 against the Norfolk Admirals. The CN8 broadcast team once again features Tim Saunders, Orest Kindrachuk and Mick Moninghoff.
COMCAST SPORTSNET CLASSICS TO FEATURE THE PHANTOMS
Comcast SportsNet Classics, the monthly show that reaches into the archives of Philadelphia sports history, will showcase the 1997-98 Calder Cup-winning Phantoms in November. Entitled "Dreams of Hockey Glory," the hour-long show will premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8:00 p.m. and re-air on Nov. 20 at 8:00 p.m., Nov. 24 at 7:00 p.m. and Nov. 28 at 8:00 p.m. "Dreams of Hockey Glory" will include interviews with John Stevens, Neil Little, Frank Bialowas and Peter White, as well as highlights of the exciting run to the Calder Cup title.
LIVE BAND IN BULLIES EVERY FRIDAY
Stick around after every Friday home game to hear the Delaware Valley's best and brightest bands perform live inside Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant. The Steve Liberace Trio will be the featured entertainment this Friday, Nov. 1.
FOOSBALL TOURNAMENT UNDER WAY
Budweiser will be sponsoring a foosball tournament in Bullies before every Friday night home game this season. Two-person teams will compete from 6:00-7:00 p.m., with each winning team receiving two tickets to the Phantoms' final regular-season Friday game on April 4, so they can compete in the final round that night. The champions will win a free foosball table, as well as a Phantoms Fantasy Pack that includes game tickets, dinner in Bullies and the opportunity to watch pre-game warm-ups from the bench.
NEW GAMES IN BULLIES
In addition to the great food, drinks and entertainment at Bullies, several new games have been installed for everyone to enjoy. STUDENT TICKETS JUST $8 ON WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS
College and high school students with valid student IDs can attend all Phantoms games on Wednesdays and Fridays this season for just $8.
