
Hodgman Leads Otters Over Petes, 5-2

Justin Hodgman scored a goal and two assists to lead the Erie Otters to a 5-2 win over the Peterborough Petes in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight in front of 3,039 at the Tullio Arena.
Brandon Biggers and Ryan O'Reilly each supplied a goal and an assist in the win, the Otters third straight on home ice. Tyler Hostetter and Sean Jones rounded out the scoring.
David Quesnele and Brett Theberge scored for the Petes. Erie improved to 9-9-1-0 with the win. Peterborough dropped to 8-11-0-1.
The two teams were tied at one after one. The Otters carried a 3-1 lead into the third.
The Otters out shot the Petes 40-29 in the game as Jaroslav Janus posted the victory.
The three stars of the game were all from the Otters. Hodgman was the first, Biggers the second and Jones the third.
The Otters complete the weekend tomorrow night (Saturday) when the No. 1 ranked Windsor Spitfires visit in a 7 p.m. start at the Tullio Arena presented by TGI Friday's. The first 1,000 fans into the game receive a free appetizer card.
