Hockey Showdown in T-Town Saturday, October 6

The Huntington Center plays host to two preseason exhibition hockey games on Saturday, October 6 in preparation for the 2012-13 season. Tickets to the games are $5.00 general admission with all proceeds benefitting the Toledo Walleye charitable fund - Walleye Wishing Well.

- 6 p.m. - AHL exhibition game - Grand Rapids Griffins vs. Lake Erie Monsters

- 9 p.m. - ECHL exhibition game - Toledo Walleye vs. Kalamazoo Wings

The $5.00 ticket includes access to all events held at the Huntington Center on the 6th, including an open Walleye practice at 10 a.m. and four consecutive youth hockey games from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Then on October 13, the Toledo Walleye open its 2012-13 season against the division rival Kalamazoo Wings. Come early for the FinFest Opening Night pregame party at 4:30 p.m. in The Aquarium.
