Hockey Manitoba Launches World Junior 50/50 Draw

Winnipeg, MB - Hockey Manitoba, in partnership with Hockey Canada, is excited to unveil a series of online 50/50 draws that will take place throughout the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship.

During this year's tournament, Manitoba residents will be able to purchase 50/50 tickets that directly support minor hockey in Manitoba.

A total of nine (9) draws will be held over the course of the pre-tournament, round robin and medal round with tickets available starting at 9:30 AM (CST) and closing at 10:00 PM (CST) on the following dates:

December 23, 2021 (draw opens December 17)

December 26, 2021 (draw opens December 24)

December 28, 2021 (draw opens December 27)

December 29, 2021 (draw opens December 29)

December 31, 2021 (draw opens December 30)

January 2, 2022 (draw opens January 1)

January 4, 2022 (draw opens January 3)

January 5, 2022 (draw opens January 5)

January 6, 2022 (draw opens January 5)

Tickets will be available in packages of one (1) for $10.00, forty (40) for $20.00, ninety (90) for $30.00 and two-hundred fifty (250) for $50.00.

The winners of each 50/50 draw will take home half of the pot, while the other half will remain in Manitoba to be reinvested into grassroots hockey programs that enable more people to get involved in the game and help improve their quality of life through hockey.

Lottery License # LGCA 3065-RF-37024 a. All draws will close at 10:00 p.m. CT and the winning number will be posted on Hockey Manitoba's website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), and the Hockey Canada 50/50 website shortly after.

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a 50/50 ticket and must be in Manitoba (MB) at the time of purchase.
