Hockey Helps Haiti Saturday

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Prince Albert Raider fans will be able to show how "Hockey Helps Haiti" Saturday night when the Raiders host the Kootenay Ice at 7:00 PM. The Canadian Red Cross will be accepting donations for the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund at the game. The Red Cross will be providing tax receipts for donations over $10.

Brunette Bonne-Annee, an employee of the City of Prince Albert who works at the Art Hauser Centre will drop the ceremonial face off Saturday. Bonne-Annee has many family members living in Haiti and after not hearing from her brother who lives in Port-au-Prince, finally got word earlier this week he survived the earthquake.

Donny Parenteau to Perform Saturday

Immediately following Saturday night's game there will be a special musical performance, free of charge to fans attending the game in the Ches Leach Lounge. Donny Parenteau and his six piece band will be putting on an all-ages cabaret and doing the same show they will perform next month on Saskatchewan Day at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

This will give Prince Albert a chance to see the show Parenteau was selected to perform as one of only a few acts from Saskatchewan for the prestigious Olympic Games.

Parenteau also will have 2 tickets to the Alan Jackson concert and other items to auction as part of his show.

Tickets for Saturday night's game are available on line at www.raiderhockey.com or by calling 764-GAME. The Raider office is open Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Game Day Saturday from Noon to game time.
