Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release


The Colorado Springs Sky Sox beat the New Orleans Zephyrs 5-3 on Sunday night. New Sky Sox Pablo Ozuna got off to a fast start collecting 3 hits and scoring a run in his first game. Garrett Atkins also had 3 hits to go with 2 RBI and Rene Reyes chipped in his 3rd home run of the season. Chris Gissell picked up his 3rd win of the year coming out of the bullpen and Brad Clontz shut the door on the Zephyrs for his 16th save on the season. These two teams conclude the series Monday with Denny Stark (0-1, 9.00) taking the hill for the Sox against Ron Villone (2-1, 1.21) of New Orleans.
