Hitmen Bounce Bruins, Extend Streak To Three

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen extended their winning streak to three games with a 3-2 victory over the Chilliwack Bruins Tuesday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Jimmy Bubnick scored the game winner on a powerplay snapping a 2-2 third period tie.

Bubnick's 14th goal of the season also capped a three goal come back by Calgary who trailed 2-0 in the second period.

Justin Kirsch with this 14th and Trevor Cheek with his fifth added goals for the Hitmen while Brandon Magee and Jamie Crooks replied for the Bruins.

Michael Snider made 31 saves in goal to record the win.

Calgary, now 4-1-1-0 in their last six games, holds an overall record of 10-21-2-0.

The Hitmen will return to action tomorrow (Wednesday) night in Cranbrook against the Kootenay Ice.

Calgary is then back home Friday for their final game before a 10 day Christmas Break to host the Kelowna Rockets. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome.
