Hillcats Face Chien-Ming Wang on MLB Rehab Tonight

Woodbridge, VA - The Hillcats will square-off against RHP Chien-Ming Wang of the Washington Nationals tonight at 7:05pm at Pfitzner Stadium. Wang was added to the Potomac Nationals roster this afternoon. Tonight will be his second rehab appearance this season for the the club. Wang also pitched on April 28 in Woodbridge, tossing four innings, allowing just one run, while striking out three against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. In 2011, he pitched on July 2 for Potomac throwing four scoreless frames.
Wang, 32, is 2-3 with a 7.61 ERA for Washington over seven games including four starts this season. He is currently on the 15-day DL with a hip strain. Over seven years with New York (AL) and Washington, Wang is 61-32 with 4.26 ERA over 756.2 innings. Wang's finest year was 2006 with the Yankees when Wang finished second in Cy Young voting and led the AL with 19 wins.
