HIDALGO, Texas - Hidalgo La Fiera of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) Management, in conjunction with management from the Baltimore Blast, San Diego Sockers, and Missouri Comets have created a new partnership for all of the current PASL teams, and former MISL teams, that will unify professional arena/indoor soccer.
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) is the top level of arena soccer in North America. The league was known as the Professional Arena Soccer League when it began play on October 25, 2008.
Twenty-three teams make up the MASL and will be separated into four divisions; Eastern, Central, Southern, and Pacific.
Hidalgo La Fiera will be part of the Southern Division of the Major Arena Soccer League with their opponents being the following:
Dallas Sidekicks
Oxford City of Texas (formerly Texas Strikers)
Brownsville Barracudas
Saltillo Rancho Seco
Monterrey Flash
The first regular season home game for Hidalgo La Fiera will be on Sunday October 26th at State Farm Arena versus Saltillo-Rancho Seco.
Hidalgo La Fiera will release the rest of the schedule in early to mid-September.
