HFX Wanderers FC Announce Official 2021 Roster

Halifax, N.S. - The Halifax Wanderers Football Club is pleased to release our official 2021 Roster!

"Our Football Operations team has done a fantastic job following through on our vision for a deep and balanced team, loaded with character and passion, that will embrace its responsibility to represent the city of Halifax and our supporters," said Derek Martin, Club President & Founder. "I am immensely proud of the diversity in our club and believe it truly represents the evolving face of our community as "Together From Aways" is much more than just a slogan; it is the foundation upon which our club is built. It is our sincere hope that we can provide our fans with moments of joy after a distressing and difficult year and fulfill our purpose of making our community stronger through the power of sport."

Leading the club are our original Wanderers; Akeem Garcia (Trinidad), Andre Rampersad (Trinidad), Peter Schaale (Germany), Christian Oxner (Halifax) and Scott Firth (Fall River). They are joined by our 2020 additions; Alex Marshall (Jamaica), Alessandro Riggi (Montreal), Joao Morelli (Brazil), Jems Geffrard (Montreal), Omar Kreim (Montreal), Mateo Restrepo (Toronto), Jake Ruby (Vancouver) and Cory Bent (England)

New to the club in 2021 are Eriks Santos (Brazil), Jeremy Gagnon-Laparé (Montreal), Kieran Baskett (Halifax), Stefan Karajovanovic (Ottawa), Kareem Sow (Ottawa), Morey Doner (Toronto), Pierre Lamothe (Montreal), Marcello Polisi (Vancouver) and Samuel Salter (Montreal).

The Wanderers will play their first game of "The Kickoff" in Winnipeg versus Pacific FC this Saturday, June 26 at 6pm AT (broadcast live on One Soccer) and plan to return home to the Wanderers Grounds in early August.
