
Hens To Host Substance Abuse Prevention Program

Toledo Mud Hens News Release
(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Mud Hens, in conjunction with the Toledo Police Department, Lucas County Sheriff's Office and The Community Partnership will be hosting a Substance Abuse Prevention Program for local underprivileged youth before their Noon game on Wednesday, June 24th.
Representatives from all the organizations, including Mud Hen Players, will be speaking about the importance of staying drug, alcohol and tobacco free.
Approximately 900 kids will take part in this program, which begins at 10 am, and attend the game that follows. All kids will be asked to sign a pledge to remain drug, alcohol and tobacco free. A second program will be held on Monday, July 27th.
