With a name like Rocky, you know he has got to be good!
The Beef has inked a quarterback by the name of Rocky Hinds who is a very athletic player towering at 6'5", 225 lbs.
Out of high school, he was in the top 10 in the nation at the quarterback position and was named a Super-Prep All-American. Hinds was very active on the track team as well excelling in the 100 meters, broad and high jump.
His college career saw him at USC then transfer to UNLV with the Sporting News listing him as having `the strongest arm in the conference'. When he left USC he was ranked the No. 1 transfer in the nation by College Football News who also listed Hinds as the No. 94 candidate for the 2006 Heisman Trophy.
"At 23 years old Hinds' has so much raw talent that we are excited to get him in action with his teammates. He is a complete player with his speed and very strong arm that will make him a double threat in the indoor game," Coach Pimmel bolsters.
The Omaha Beef is proud to be one of the longest running and most consistent indoor teams of all time in any capacity starting their 11th season.
Omaha is the home of the 2009 Dance Team of the Year (Prime Time Dancers) and Mascot of the Year (Sir Loin) in the IFL.
