Heat Host Teddy Bear Toss Next Saturday

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL's Calgary Flames, will host the 12th Teddy Bear Toss game next Saturday, January 21 at Stockton Arena starting at 7:30 p.m.

The fan favorite event allows fans to bring new or gently loved stuffed animals and teddy bears to the game and when the Heat score their first goal of the contest, fans are able to toss them onto the ice where they will be collected, counted and donated to the United Way of San Joaquin County. Over the last 11 years, Stockton hockey fans have donated 53,570 bears, including a record setting 8,231 bears collected last year in the first year of AHL hockey in Stockton Arena!
