Abbotsford Heat News Release
ABBOTSFORD, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that only single seats remain for Friday and Saturday night against the Oklahoma City Barons (AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers) at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC).
The Heat encourage fans to avoid box office lines by picking up their tickets prior to game day at the AESC box office located at the main entrance off King Road between 10am and 5pm Thursday or Friday. Fans are also encouraged to arrive early on both Friday and Saturday night.
Fans are also reminded that this Saturday's game is "Rock Your Red" night, where all fans are encouraged to wear red. Fans will also have an opportunity to win a brand new Honda Fit in the second intermission, courtesy of The Honda Way in Abbotsford.
Tickets are still available for Tuesday and Wednesday's two-game series with the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche). The Monsters are currently tied with the Heat for top spot in the AHL North Division and feature a pair of high profile B.C. born defencemen. Tyson Barrie (Victoria) and Stefan Elliott (North Vancouver) both split time between the Monsters and the Avalanche last season as 20-year-olds.
Tickets are also available for the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) series later this month. The Hamilton series will feature the second Legends of Hockey night with Hockey Hall of Famer Yvan Cournoyer on November 30th and our annual Pucks "ËN Paws night on December 1st.
