American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

- Rockford IceHogs right wing Andrew Shaw has been suspended for six (6) games as a consequence of his actions in a game vs. Lake Erie on Nov. 3. Shaw was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players' bench for the purpose of starting an altercation.

Shaw will miss Rockford's games Friday (Nov. 9) at Grand Rapids, Saturday (Nov. 10) vs. Milwaukee, Nov. 14 vs. Peoria, Nov. 16 vs. Houston, Nov. 18 at Houston and Nov. 21 vs. Peoria.

- Rockford IceHogs left wing Wade Brookbank has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions during an altercation in a game vs. Lake Erie on Nov. 3.

Brookbank will miss Rockford's game Friday (Nov. 9) at Grand Rapids.

- Rockford IceHogs defenseman Dylan Olsen has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Lake Erie on Nov. 3.

Olsen will miss Rockford's games Friday (Nov. 9) at Grand Rapids and Saturday (Nov. 10) vs. Milwaukee.

- Portland Pirates right wing Phil Lane has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game vs. St. John's on Nov. 2.

Lane will miss Portland's game Friday (Nov. 9) at Worcester.

- Albany Devils defenseman Matthew Corrente has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of receiving an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period in a game at Adirondack on Nov. 3.

Corrente will miss Albany's game Friday (Nov. 9) at Providence.
