Health Coalition Offering Free Tickets to Wilmington Blue Rocks Game

Healthy Delawareans Today & Tomorrow (HDTT) is partnering with the Wilmington Blue Rocks for the second annual "Healthy Delawareans Today & Tomorrow Day" on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

This daytime game (11:05 AM start) is an opportunity for kids to learn that it's fun to be healthy! Throughout the game, kids will be roused from their seats to participate in physical activities. For the adults, there will be variety of health agencies on the concourse, offering information and on-the-spot screenings. In addition, there will be healthy snacking options for kids and adults alike!

HDTT is a coalition of community health partners, convened by United Way of Delaware. Members include government agencies, hospitals, low- and no-cost clinics and faith-based organizations. HDTT works to promote awareness and availability of free and reduced cost healthcare services. HDTT connects uninsured and underinsured Delawareans to healthcare services, including:

. Free or low-cost healthcare services

. Prescription medication assistance

. Patient navigation services

. Transportation to and from medical appointments
