Boise, Idaho- A one run top of the first inning for the Aquasox was topped by Boise's four run bottom of the inning highlighted by a two run shot by third baseman Elvin Puello (1-for-3). Everett had to play catch-up the rest of the night as they dropped the final game of the series to the Hawks 12-4. Casey Craig's 3-for-5, two run performance was not enough as Boise had eighteen hits of their own.
Hawks shortstop Kyle Reynolds had quite the night. He was 4-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored. Reynolds was a homerun shy of the cycle. Boise center fielder Davy Gregg went 3-for-6 with a RBI and scored two runs. Hawks right fielder Jeff Culpepper had a good night as well, going 2-for-3 with a stolen base and scoring two runs.
July 9th the Frogs will be in town for a three game set with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. It is the annual Frogstock celebration at Everett Memorial Stadium with a post game fireworks show brought to you by K&H Integrated Print Solutions. There will be a Sound Transit/ NorthSound 1380 tie-dye baseball giveaway for the first 1,000 kids fourteen and younger. Saturday's game will start at 7:05pm with gates opening at 6pm.
