Rockford, IL– Peanut Williams' RBI double in the top of the 10th inning gave the Windy City ThunderBolts a 4-3 win over the Rockford RiverHawks at Marinelli Field.

Rockford closer Josh Latimer (1-1), pitching for the third straight night, gave up back-to-back doubles to right field to Nick Johnson and Williams in the 10th.

Rockford jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first two innings to support Mark Dulkowski, making his first start of the season. Dave Bernstine tripled home a run in the first and scored on Rico Santana's single.

Dulkowski pitched five shutout innings, but Jason Glosser gave up the lead by allowing a run in the sixth inning and two in the seventh.

B.J. Litchfield (1-0) pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the win. Matt Hines pitched a scoreless 10th inning and got out of a bases-loaded, two-out jam for his fourth save.

The RiverHawks hit the road for three 7:15 p.m. games at the Springfield/Ozark Ducks. They return for a six-game homestand, starting with a 7:05 p.m. game on Saturday. Saturday is U.S. Cellular/Y95 Youth Glove Night.

All games are broadcasted live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 – the Hub and at the team website. The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 12th season.
