Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release

Hat Tricks strong start off of an early shorthanded goal by forward, Wyatt Stefan, not enough as they fall to the Maine Nordiques in a 4-1 final.

In the second game of Danbury's trip to Maine, the Hat Tricks started the game off with a shorthanded goal from Wyatt Stefan. Maine answered ten minutes later with a goal of their own to tie the game up at 1. In the second frame, both goalies saw a combined 26 shots, including a power play goal from Nordiques forward, Nils Forselius.

In the final frame, things became chippy for both sides, as 9 penalties and a misconduct were assessed for a combined 28 penalty minutes in the period. Maine Nordiques forward, Nils Forselius, capitalized on his second power play goal of the game that the Hat Tricks could not answer. The Nordiques closed out the game on a shorthanded goal from forward, Nick Ramm, for a final score of 4-1

The Hat Tricks are back in action on Tuesday the 13th, when they hit the road to face off against the New Jersey Titans. Puck drop is set for 7:30pm on NAHLTV.
