Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release
DANBURY, CT - The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks are back in action for some more Halloweekend hockey as they host the Maryland Black Bears for a Saturday matinee matchup.
The Hat Tricks and Black Bears play for the second time in as many days on Saturday, about 24 hours after a 4-3 OT victory for Maryland.
"Despite the outcome, I liked our effort on Friday," said Head Coach Billy McCreary. "When we play that game, we will be in position to win a lot of games."
The Hat Tricks goaltending has been stellar over the last three games, thanks in large part to Adam Johnson, who is on a tear between the pipes over the last three games, stopping 120 of 131 shots for a .916 save percentage.
The game on Saturday will be a 3:30 p.m. start against Maryland. Make sure to come out and support the Hat Tricks at home as they wrap up their longest home-stand of the year.
Make sure to follow along with the game online via social media or HockeyTV, however, we will not be broadcasting audio for tomorrow's game, it will be video-only.
