Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release

ATTLEBORO, MA - The Hat Tricks and Generals battled on Sunday for the third-straight day. And for the second-straight day the Generals bested the Hat Tricks 4-1.

The first period was hard fought on both sides, with Northeast finally breaking through at 14:46 with Bryce Cooper's first goal of the season.

Only 24 seconds after the General's goal the Hat Tricks would find an answer. Luka Sukovic (5) took advantage of a horrible turnover in front of Northeast's net and buried one to even the score heading to the second.

The score would remain tied until Brent Keefer (14) got his first of two during the game to make it 2-1 into the third period.

Keefer would light the lamp again only 58 seconds into the final frame to make it 3-1 Northeast. Northeast would tack on another goal with around four minutes left on the power-play to give us the final 4-1 score.

Danbury falls to 1-4 against Northeast this season and 8-21-3 overall heading home next weekend.

The Hat Tricks will return home to play the same Generals next weekend. The series will have games Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

The games against Northeast next weekend will be the first home games for the Hat Tricks since a two-game set against the Maryland Black Bears on the 10th and 11th of December.

Follow along with all games, home and away by following the Hat Tricks on their various social media channels or by watching the games live on HockeyTV.
