
Haryasz Returns to Rockers

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Jan. 4, 2007 - The Arkansas RimRockers of the NBA Development League have reacquired rookie forward Matt Haryasz and waived center Chad Bell.
Haryasz, 6-11, 230, from Stanford, had played in nine games (eight starts) for the RimRockers before being waived on Dec. 22 due to injury. He was averaging 31.2 minutes, 10.0 points and 8.1 rebounds with two double-doubles at that time. The sixth overall selection in the 2006 D-League Draft, Haryasz was an All-Pac 10 performer last season after averaging 16.2 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Cardinal.
Bell played in 12 games for Arkansas, averaging 5.3 minutes, 1.6 points and 1.0 rebound.
Haryasz is set to be back in a RimRockers uniform when Arkansas (6-8) visits Fort Worth (9-3) on Friday.
