Colorado 14ers News Release
DENVER, Dec. 27 - The Colorado 14ers set a new NBA Development League record with 56 made field goals in a 130-108 win over the Tulsa 66ers on Wednesday night. Seven of the eight players that played for Colorado scored in double figures, led by Elton Brown's 25 points. The victory improves Colorado to 8-5 on the season, while Tulsa falls to 8-8 with the loss.
The 14ers scored 74 first half points, and shot 73% from the field in building a 74-56 advantage at the break. Von Wafer scored 15 of his 23 points in the first half, going 3-4 from 3-point land. Elton Brown controlled the paint in the second half scoring 13 of his team-high 25 points in the second half. Brown also pulled down 11 rebounds to record his sixth double-double of the season.
"He's getting better and better every game. As his work habits improve, so does his game," said 14ers head coach Joe Wolf. "That's why he's in this league. He knows if he keeps working at it he's got a shot to move up."
Colorado led by as many as 30 points in the second half on the way to the fourth home victory in five games at the Broomfield Event Center. Tulsa falls to 4-3 on the road with its first loss in three road games.
Denham Brown led the way for the 66ers with a game-high 28 points on 11-25 shooting. Will Conroy added 15 points and 12 assists for Tulsa in the loss.

Mike Harris also came off the bench for the first time this season to put up 18 points and 11 rebounds in 35 minutes of action.
